Lift Modernisation

Apartment lifts

Lift modernisation normally involves upgrading some (or all) of the existing lift components for modern equivalents - bringing your lift into the 21st century. In some case modernisation can be done in several stages so your lift remains in operation throughout the modernisation process.

Upgrading your lift will range from minor to more significant modifications depending on your lift requirements. The following upgrades are examples of the type of modernisation we commonly undertake - many of which include Health and Safety features that comply with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA)

Common lift modernisation features

Upgrading the safety of your lift is vitally important, as you the lift owner, are required by law to be responsible for people using and working on the lift. In some cases, this may well include fitting site barriers, ladders, grab rails, shaft lighting, painting of moving lift parts and guarding of moving machinery.

Acer Lift Services works in accordance to British and European Standard Guidelines and Codes of Practice ensuring your lift modernisation meets the highest safety standards and recommendations.

Our lift consultants will be able to advise you on what type of modernisation you require subject to a site survey. This site visit will enable the consultant to make a set of recommendations according to your lift requirements, timescale and allocated budget. Remember, our modernisation service is very flexible and centred around what is best for you.
